New Holland Capital's strategies are designed to pursue a balanced approach to generating alpha, diversifying market exposure, and preserving capital through investments that prioritise absolute returns. The investment team employs a comprehensive approach, casting a wide net to identify alpha opportunities, encompassing both fundamental and quantitative strategies.
Through active management, New Holland tactically deploys capital across strategies and managers where it is expected to generate the highest potential risk-adjusted returns, while reducing exposure to underperforming strategies. This active asset allocation approach has the potential to improve portfolio performance and risk management. Underlying portfolio managers are responsible for trading their specific strategies and sizing positions based on the capital allocated by New Holland.

Bill is responsible for portfolio management, investment research, and portfolio risk alongside David Wadler with a special focus on liquid strategies. Bill is a voting member of the firm’s Investment Committee and a member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. Prior to joining New Holland Capital in 2008, Bill oversaw a small LA-based record label and before that was an Analyst within the fixed income division of Goldman Sachs. Bill graduated summa cum laude from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Economics.

Scott Radke is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Chief Investment Officer at New Holland Capital (NHC). As CEO, Scott is responsible for leading, implementing, and growing NHC’s business activities. As Co-CIO, Scott is responsible for portfolio management, investment research, and portfolio risk alongside David Wadler with a special focus on illiquid strategies, and Bill Young with a special focus on liquid strategies. Scott is a member of the firm’s Financial Risk Management Committee and a member of the Investment Committee, which opines on investment and portfolio decisions across NHC’s business lines. Prior to the launch of NHC in 2006, Scott was a member of the Hedge Fund Group within a Dutch pension. Before that, Scott was a Vice President at Citigroup Global Markets and previously an Associate within the Insurance-related Structured Transactions Group at Goldman Sachs. Scott graduated magna cum laude from the University of Michigan with a BSE in Mechanical Engineering and received an MBA in Finance with distinction from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Jon is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and monitoring investments across New Holland Capital’s (NHC) client portfolios as well as overseeing portfolio analysts’ efforts and is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee, which opines on investment and portfolio decisions across NHC’s business lines. Jon also serves as Head of Portfolio Implementation, ensuring that client portfolios are consistent with their stated mandates and risk preferences and liaising with clients to discuss portfolio-related questions. Prior to joining NHC in 2009, Jon was an Investment Banking Analyst within the Global Technology Group at Barclays Capital. Jon graduated summa cum laude from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Economics.
